So...our whole time we were in Vegas we may have told everyone we saw that I was getting married the week after our trip...and..our waitress at Wolfgang's may have offered me a free dessert as a congrats...I may have turned it down once, then when asked again, accepted it.....

We went to see Cirque de Soliel's Mystere at Treasure Island

I will say it was definitely interesting being in vegas 7 months preggo. I got some fun looks.

I Think This Is Really Going to Happen

I had my Memorial Road baby shower Sunday at Nancy Thompson's house. Thank you to everyone who came and for all of the amazing generosity! It was so much fun and I could not believe it was for MY baby. That is still weird that I am having my own kid. I think Lucas and I will be saying that to each other until the kid is married himself, and then we'll start saying we can't believe our kid is getting married.

Anyway, it was so much fun! I can't wait to get everything organized!

Our ACTUAL Valentine's

It wasn't so much like the previous video, as disappointed as that may be.

We actually had our first baby class on Saturday from 9-11:30 : Caring For Baby. I feel very well informed.
Then we ate lunch at Louie's on Hefner Lake - nice.

Then we spent a couple hours at Channel 4 (don't be so jealous) so Lucas could finish up that hot video below and some others while I talked on the phone and played online.

Then we went to Chris and Anna's to hang out and we watch Dark Knight (so romantic!).

Around 8:45pm we stopped at Panera to get some food to go and ended up getting more food than we ordered cause they were about to close and had to get rid of some stuff. Woo hoo!

We got home and watched and SNL rerun while eating our Panera. Exchanged cards and Lucas got me a massage gift certificate (he knows me so well).

We watched a little bit of the new SNL then went to bed. As un-exciting as that seems it was actually a really nice day together. It seems like forever since we have spent an entire day together like that.
I love my hub!

Nursery Sneak Peek

I couldn't resist posting a quick pic of the nursery. It is SO close to being finished. My aunt is finishing up the crib bumper, and I need a lamp for the table and it should be done.
It is turning out exactly how I had pictured in my head, though.

Make Way - Pregnant Lady in Vegas!

Well, I'm off to Vegas for the weekend with these fabulous ladies - Anna, Angie, Casey & Lailah. The five of us decided about a year and a half ago that we needed to go on a big trip before we all started having kids. Then...I kinda put a cramp in things, so we were on a race with the clock.

You might think a 7 1/2 month pregnant girl going to Vegas sounds unusual. You'd be right. I'm sure it will be interesting, but I'm so excited! Be back on Sunday!
